Pages
Pages are the main, “always there” parts of your website, like Home, About, Services, and Contact.
Edit an existing page
Section titled “Edit an existing page”- Go to Pages → All Pages.
- Hover over the page title and click Edit.
- Make your changes in the editor.
- Click Update (or Save) in the top-right corner.
- Click View Page to check it on the live site.
Create a new page
Section titled “Create a new page”Pages → Add New → give it a title → add your content → Publish.
New pages don’t automatically appear in your navigation. To add one, see Menus.
Working with blocks
Section titled “Working with blocks”Most WordPress sites use the block editor, where every paragraph, heading, image, and button is a “block”.
- Click the + button to add a block.
- Click a block to edit it. Its settings appear in the right-hand sidebar.
- Use the ⋮ (three dots) menu on a block to move, duplicate, or remove it.
Some sites use a page builder (like Divi, Elementor, or Beaver Builder) instead. The idea is the same, but the buttons look different. If your site uses one, your support contact can add a page here showing how it works on your site.
Draft, preview, and publish
Section titled “Draft, preview, and publish”| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved, but only logged-in users can see it |
| Pending Review | Waiting for an Editor or Administrator to approve |
| Published | Live for everyone to see |
| Private | Visible only to logged-in Editors and Administrators |
Use Preview to see your changes before anyone else does.
