Pegasus Theme Overview

Your website is built on Pegasus, a WordPress theme made by Visionquest Development. It’s a Bootstrap 5 theme built on CMB2 (for custom fields and the options panel) and Font Awesome (for icons). It’s free and open source.

Pegasus comes in three parts:

Part What it does
Pegasus (parent theme) The foundation: layout, headers, colors, footer, and the Pegasus Options panel
Pegasus Child (child theme) Where customizations for your site live, so theme updates don’t wipe them out. See The Child Theme
Pegasus plugins Optional add-ons like sliders, carousels, tabs, popups, and counters, each installed separately so your site stays lean. See Shortcodes and Components

You’ll find Pegasus settings in these places:

  1. Pegasus Options in the WordPress admin menu: site-wide settings like logo, colors, header layout, and footer widgets. → Pegasus Options
  2. The Pegasus Page Options and Additional Header Options boxes in the page or post editor: settings for that page only. → Page Options and Headers
  3. Appearance → Menus: your navigation, social icons, and MegaMenu columns. → Menus and Social Icons
  4. Pegasus Plugins Suite in the admin menu: a “… Usage” help page for each active Pegasus plugin. → Shortcodes and Components
